Title-page, 120 unnumbered pages, and one page of publisher's adverts at the back. Rounded corners. All edges gilt. Contemporary inscription, dated 1912. First and last leaves somewhat browned. 49 x 52 mm. Original burgundy straight-grained cloth made to look like morocco. Gilt titling within ribbon style gilt borders on upper cover. Not in Bondy, nor Spielmann, nor Welsh. WorldCat locates no copies worldwide. Daily Help typically followed a "Daily Text" format, providing a scriptural verse or inspirational thought for every day of the year. In 1912, such books were popular as "Birthday Books," where readers would record the birthdays of friends next to the printed verse for that date. This edition is hitherto unrecorded.
